In 1999 we started a soup kitchen where we provided food and medical attention. In 2001, we opened a rehab center called the Ark that has a family-like structure encouraging the children to reach their full potential as godly, loving, responsible and skilled members of Ukrainian society.

Children living at the Ark receive treatment for drug and glue addictions, an education and the opportunity to learn a trade. We purchased property on the outskirts of Kiev that is well suited for these needs.

In order to renovate this property we need your help!

The first group of children are now living in the Ark instead of living in manholes, in the dump, or abandoned buildings. These children are sleeping in their own beds, perhaps for the first time in their lives.

Since coming to the Ark we have seen marvelous changes in their lives. They are excited about learning, making friends and playing outside. Most importantly they are beginning to adjust to a normal life style where they feel safe and secure knowing they are loved and cared for.
